This chapter 6 talks about the laptop evolution and gives information and the history of laptops. the first laptop that was produced was around 11lbs and its cost was 8 to 10 thousand dollars and was produced so astronauts could take it to spaces for varies. the first ever laptop was produced which wa s called, “GRiD Compass 1101″. this was the start of laptops.
This chapter also shows the components that are used for the laptop and what advantages and disadvantages are about the laptop and what applications it occupies. it also talk about the dock station that the laptop is given with.It also shows all the parts of the laptop and labells the parts of the laptop so that we know what is what on a laptop.
It also compares desktops to laptop software and components and talks about their advantages and disadvantages of their features.
This chapter also talks about portable devices. It describes the feature of laptops.
