Chapter 8.9
This part of the chapter talks about NIC which stands for Network Interface Card. This NIC is required to connect to the internet. The NIC can be preinstalled or you may need to buy one for your own.

In order for the NIC to work you need to download the driver for it and then it will be ready to connect to the internet.

You many also need to install a modern additonal to the NIC which will also help you to connect to the internet.
