To install a printer you must first

  • Click the Start button and then click Control Panel on the right side of the Start menu.

  • Click printers and other hardware.
  • Click add a printer in printers and other hardware  to start the Add Printer Wizard and then click the Next button.

Now plug your printer in a usb port in your PC and in the usb port in the printer here is a picture of the back of the printer were you have to plug in the cable.

  • if it is plug and play you will see this and you will not have to follow these instructions —->
  • If it is not (plug and play) then you will have to get the driver of the manufactures website and download that and once you have downloaded it you will have to open it the install wizard and install the printer from there.

Here is a picture of what it should look like when it is downloading

Once you have downloaded it you will need to open the file you just downloaded and it should look like this
Here is a picture of the Installation all you need to do here is to click install.
After clicking install you will be presented with a screen like this and you just click I Agree this means that you agree to their terms and conditions.
Once you have clicked i Agree it will install the software for the printer and just keep on clicking next until you have finished the installation and you will be able to use the printer.
If you want more than one computer connected to the printer you will need to go into peer to peer support and this is just the printer sharing set up and this is a picture of that —–>
Once you are sure that you have installed everything you need to print a test page which looks like this
Once you have installed everything and completed the setup you will look at a screen like this—->And from here you can do all of the printer task’s you want to do.
If you want to check that your printer is fully installed you can go to devices and printers and it should have the name of your printer listed in there and here is a picture of what mine looked like —->
