G-1 the first generation of wireless telephone technology, mobile telecommunications (G-1) of cell phones began service in the 80s. They mostly used analog standards, including AMPS (Advanced Mobile Phone System and NMT (Nordic Mobile Telephone).

The connection on these phone was so bad that if was on the phone and someone walk past you, you would louse connection, and if you  walk while you was on this phone you would louse connection and not be able to get it back again.
