Windows XP Runs many commercial software packages

supports wireless networking

many applications are developed for windows only

 Security loopholes exist in it, hence it is easily affected by virus and spyware.

prone to crashes, hence unstable

only comes with a single user licence
Mac OSX Better security than windows

easy to use interface

 Can’t be upgraded

cost more
Linux doesnt cost much

more stable

good with network

 takes time to learn how to use

not all hardware is compatible

its open source
