MAC address- The unique name for the particular computer assigned to network interface card (NIC).
IP address- The network label assigned to every computer participating in network e.g.192.168.0.5.
Subnet masks- The address of a Computer e.g. 255.255.255.0.
Hub- Hubs are devices that can transfer information from one Ethernet device to others with Ethernet connection.
Switch-A network device that connects network segments.
Wireless ISR- provides information you need to install and configure your wireless devices.
Router-A router is a device that links up different networks.
Server- is a device that provides servers to clients.
Cables connector- cables that connect the computer to the network device.
DHCP- stands for Dynamic host configuration protocol, is a device that allows clients to retrieve IP address assignments and other configuration information.

Ping- (Packet Internet gopher) used to test the IP address of your own or other computers by typing ping on command prompt and then the IP address the press enter and see if the packets come back.

Firewall - a device that decides on which packets contain anything bad or not. If so, it destroys them
Tracert- A utility on windows that allows you to follow the route a packet takes
Ipconfig/all- gives you information on the network part of the computer if typed into command prompt
