- Cheaper
- Multiple pieces of media software can be installed
- Easy to use for the common PC user
- Huge user support network
- Easy to manage photos
Disadvantages
- Many viruses are made daily
- The “Blue Screens of Death”
- Slower than Macs
Linux
Advantages
- Most software can be obtained for free on Linux
- Runs on old hardware
- Security is good
- Stable and unlikely to crash
Disadvantages
- Takes time to learn how to use it
- May not support some software
- Higher level of technical ability needed
- Not all hardware is compatible
